Privacy Policy for BandManager

BandManager is operated by 2797140 Alberta Corp. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how BandManager collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the BandManager mobile app.
1. Information We Collect
BandManager collects information that you provide when using the app, including:
- Account information, such as your email address and sign-in information.
- Band information, such as band names, descriptions, country/currency settings, member rosters, roles, and permissions.
- Show and gig information, such as dates, venues, lineup details, show income, payouts, and notes.
- Financial information entered into the app, such as expenses, reimbursements, band fund activity, payouts, merchandise sales, and related notes.
- Merchandise information, such as inventory items, quantities, prices, and sales history.
- Fan/contact information, if you choose to enter it, such as names and email addresses.
- App activity needed to provide features such as collaboration, notifications, audit history, and account access.
BandManager does not collect payment card numbers or banking credentials.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information collected to:
- Create and manage your BandManager account.
- Provide band management, show management, merchandise, finance, and collaboration features.
- Store and sync your data across devices.
- Manage subscriptions, trials, and access to paid features.
- Help maintain app security, prevent unauthorized access, and troubleshoot issues.
- Respond to support requests.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Authentication and Third-Party Services
BandManager uses Supabase to provide authentication, database storage, and related backend services. Your account and app data may be stored and processed by Supabase according to its security and privacy practices.
BandManager uses Apple services for Sign in with Apple and in-app purchases. Apple may process information related to your Apple account, authentication, and subscription purchases according to Apple’s privacy policy.
4. Subscriptions and Purchases
If you purchase a BandManager subscription or paid feature through Apple, payment is handled by Apple. We receive subscription status information needed to unlock paid app features, but we do not receive your full payment card details.
5. Sharing of Information
We share information only as needed to operate the app, including:
- With Supabase, to store and sync app data.
- With Apple, for authentication, purchases, and App Store functionality.
- With other members or collaborators of a band, when you choose to share band data through BandManager features.
- When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of users or the service.
6. Band Collaboration
BandManager is designed for shared band workspaces. Information entered into a band workspace may be visible to other authorized members or collaborators of that band depending on their role and permissions. This may include member names, show details, expenses, payouts, merchandise records, fan/contact records, and related notes.
7. Data Retention
We retain account and app data for as long as needed to provide BandManager, maintain records, support collaboration features, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
You may request deletion of your account or related personal information by contacting us at the email below. Some records may be retained where necessary for security, legal, accounting, audit, or legitimate business purposes.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account access.
9. Children’s Privacy
BandManager is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. International Users
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than where you live. By using BandManager, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.
11. Your Choices
You may:
- Update band, member, show, merchandise, fan, and finance information within the app where available.
- Stop using the app at any time.
- Request account or data deletion by contacting us.
- Manage subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide notice through the app or website.
